I've been meaning to post this for quite a while, but...try guesing why I haven't. ~.^

Anyways, let's talk seriousness okay? AND I WANT YOU TO READ ALL OF IT. Don't worry, it won't kill you...much. ~.^

If a file you have on our server generates 5 million hits we will pay over $10,000 dollars. This amount I think will cover her medical bills.

The situation for this girl has gotten desperate. I've sent out emails to persons who I think could make a difference in drawing a crowd to her plight. But now I want to enroll YOU (yes, you) into this.

DA is a HUGE place isn't it? Think about it. We've got over 1 million members. Can you imagine if 1 million people downloaded that file? It's possible and I'm determined to help this girl. I download the file once at home and then at work. Everyday.

I am asking for your help. If you are an artist and you KNOW you have people who read your journal, post an entry about Project Download. Spread the word. You can do this. Positive enrollment people, I don't want to hear anything about it being a hoax. I would rather take the risk of it being a hoax than allowing someone to die. Wouldn't you?"

I've been downloading the little text file for quite a while, although not daily. For some of you who aren't into charaties, and don't want to chip in, than I can respect that. There's nothing more irritating than to have to put your name on a list, or donate money when your having people saying, "Ohh man, if you don't want to donate, than your heartless."

Sometimes I too just want to be left alone, and not have people point me out as a bad guy...BUT PLEASE HERE ME OUT ON THIS ONE. This kind of charity doesn't require any actuall money donating, and you don't necciseraly need to download everyday, just download once, and spread the word if your an active DA poster.
What's the harm in downloading a text file? If you take this up, than just dowload the file, delete it, and if you don't feel bad, than download daily. The file can be replaced, and won't harm the counter at all. So why not? It's not costing you anything besides a few seconds.

Besides, this girl seems very cool, and she won't give it up if this turns out to be a hoax...so I'm going to see where this rabit hole leads, and I hope that you'll join me.

The site that explains everything in full. Download the text file anywhere on your computer, and you can delete it if you want. Just make sure that you download the file at least once. Download daily to improve this girls counter.
