Anyway, here are my picks from E3:
Brutal Legend: If anyone's been reading my DA blog, or talked to me online, you would know that I am really, really stoked for Brutal Legend. An action game from the creators of Psychonauts. You basically have a roadie transported into a realm made up entirely of Heavy metal references, and famous metal figures such as Ozzy Osbourn, and Lemmy. Don't forget that the roadie himself is played by Jack Black.
Darksiders: A game created by JoeMad, creator of the Battle chasers comic, and his company Vigil games. You play as one of the four hoursemen of the apocalypse, war as he turns his back on hell. So he's fighting in a war between the forces of Heaven and hell.
Halo 3 ODST: I'm glad I got to see some gameplay footage of the game finally. Suppose to be an expansion to the original Halo 3, but you play as an ODST, rather than the Chief. Looks like a throw back to old school Halo action, which I'm guessing Bungie wanted to do before they said bye bye to there baby...speaking of which.
Halo Reach: I was kind of disappointed when Bungie announced there next game, and it was a Halo game. Don't get me wrong, I love Halo, and I'm looking forward to not only this game, but ODST. Though it would have been nice to see a new game from our friends at Bungie...someone please give them there license back for Myth please.
Anyway, I do love the novel, and I am looking forward how Bungie translate the book into a gaming experience.
Borderlands: While the only video people got to see of Borderlands was the change of graphics, I still love the concept of the game. Basically it's a first person shooter, with elements of Diablo, and Mad Max...ohh, and did I forget to mention that I play tested it?
That's right, yesterday I went to the focus testing group for Gearbox, and I got a chance to play some of it. I can't talk about the actual experience (contract, sorry) all I have to say is that you should look up all you can regarding this game. Rent it, or buy it when it comes out, and prepare for an awesome game...oh, and if you got an Xbox live account, do co-op with me okay?

The only thing, literally the only thing I had a problem with regarding Nintendo at their press conference was the Vitality Sensor. It's as if they don't realize that people play video games to not exercise.
Of course, Microsoft had the biggest dick hat on during their press conference, what with the Facebook announcement and that Natal crap. As if they couldn't look anymore like some sort of hipster.

You mean the new MGS Rising game? I'm personally looking forward to that, because it's a new MGS game, and plus it's the second time the Xbox has gotten an Xbox MGS title...though that's just me, and I don't a Wii or PS3.

At least Sony HAD some fucking diversity(not saying they're show was amazinh) but they did at least show off a few games from different Genres(GT5, FFXIII, FFXIV, Uncharted 2, GOWIII, MGS Peacewalker, White Knight Chronicles) And best of all NIS announced they were working on a new Console Strat RPG(And even better its from the Disgaea team) so yeah that was awesome. MS really didn't impress me this year.
...but that's just me.

As I said, they didn't show much of anything outside of the shooter genre, MGS Rising was one of the few interesting games and it didn't even have any gameplay yet. Not to mention, thats not even an exclusive MGS game, so it would make even LESS sense for me to be mad about it being on 360 even if i was the fanboy you keep portraying me as...
Unfortunately, I didn't get much of a chance to see the Sony press conference, but I'll take your word for it. The announcement from NIS strikes me as interesting, since I've been a fan of the Disgaea series for a while. If I had a PS3, I would have bought Absence of Justice in a heartbeat.
